Long before I photographed weddings, I was the kid reaching for my dad’s camera.
Photography became mine in high school, when I joined the yearbook team and started documenting school events. I loved that a photograph could preserve something that would otherwise disappear; a fleeting expression, a familiar laugh, or the beautiful chaos unfolding just outside the frame.
But becoming a photographer wasn’t exactly the plan.
I earned my master’s degree in biomedical engineering and built a career in clinical research. Somewhere between the science, spreadsheets, and carefully mapped-out path, photography remained the creative thread I couldn’t let go of.
Eventually, that thread became impossible to ignore.
Today, I photograph weddings and elopements throughout Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, telling stories that feel honest, vibrant, and deeply personal. I’m drawn to the moments that happen naturally: your partner reaching for your hand, your parents watching from across the room, the friend quietly fixing your dress, and the laughter that erupts once everyone forgets about the camera.
Those are the photographs that become more meaningful with time.
A little more about me
I’m an Indian-born photographer who feels most at home somewhere between the ocean and the mountains. My camera has followed me through wildlife encounters, underwater adventures, California beaches, and the wonderfully moody landscapes of Washington.
When I’m not photographing a wedding, you’ll probably find me buried in a fantasy novel, hiking through the PNW, dabbling in digital art, playing badminton, disappearing into a video game, or exploring a coral reef with my scuba
buddy—who also happens to be my partner and favorite person. We met on Halloween, which remains my favorite day of the year.
I also have a permanent soft spot for dogs. Bring yours to your session, and I’ll spend an unreasonable amount of time trying to become their new best friend.
What it’s like to work with me
You don’t need to know how to pose, perform, or become a different version of yourself for beautiful photographs.
I’ll help when you need direction, make room for the moments that shouldn’t be interrupted, and probably throw in a few dad jokes when things start feeling too serious. I want you to enjoy being photographed, not simply endure it for the final gallery.
Because the best photographs aren’t always the most perfectly arranged ones. They’re the ones that feel like you: your people, your personalities, your traditions, and all the beautiful chaos that made the day yours.
