The way it actually feels
No stiff poses. No pressure to “perform.”
As a Seattle engagement photographer, my approach is simple; create space for you to be yourselves. Whether we’re wandering through the city, chasing sunset along the coast, or tucked into a quiet forest in the PNW, your session is about connection first.
I’ll guide you when you need it, but most of the time, I’m just paying attention.
To the way you look at each other.
The way you fall into step without thinking.
The little moments that already feel like home.
The result? Candid, emotional, and cinematic engagement photos that feel like memories you can step back into.
What it’s like to work with me
We start easy—nothing complicated, just movement and connection
I guide you without over-directing (no awkward posing, promise)
You don’t need to “know what to do”—that’s my job
The focus stays on you two, not the camera
Sessions take place across Seattle and the PNW—coastlines, mountains, or your favorite local spots
By the end, it feels less like a shoot and more like a really good date
Ready to start your story?
Tell me a little about you two and your vision for your engagement photos—I’ll take it from there.
""An absolute gem to work with, she is so fun, professional, helpful and amazing. She went above and beyond to make my vision become a reality and so much more""

FAQ
Do I need to be engaged to book an engagement session?
Not at all. Whether you just got engaged, are celebrating an anniversary, or simply want photos together, these sessions are about your story—whatever chapter you’re in.
We’re awkward in front of the camera… is that a problem?
Not even a little.
Almost every couple says this at first—and then ends up saying, “wait, that was actually fun?” I’ll guide you in a way that feels natural, not posed, so you’re never left wondering what to do with your hands. Most of the time, you’ll just be focused on each other, not the camera.
How do we choose a location?
I’ve got you.
Whether you’re dreaming of mountains, beaches, forests, or something more personal (like your favorite coffee shop or neighborhood), I’ll help you pick a location that fits your vibe. I know some incredible spots around Seattle and the PNW—and I’m always down for somewhere meaningful to you, too.
What if it rains?
Welcome to the PNW 🤍
Some of the most beautiful, cinematic photos happen in moody weather—but if it’s truly not the vibe you’re going for, we can always reschedule.
Do you offer engagement sessions as part of wedding packages?
Yes—and honestly, this is what most couples choose.
When you book your wedding with me, engagement sessions are included in many of my packages. It’s the best way for us to get to know each other before the big day, and it helps you feel completely at ease in front of the camera.
By the time your wedding comes around, it won’t feel like you hired a photographer—it’ll feel like you’ve got a friend documenting your day.
What should we wear?
Think coordinated, not matching.
I’ll send you a style guide after booking with tips on colors, textures, and outfits that photograph beautifully. The goal is to feel like yourselves—just a slightly elevated version.
When will we get our photos?
You’ll receive your full gallery within about 3–4 weeks.
Your images will be delivered in a private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints.
Do you travel for engagement sessions?
Absolutely.
I photograph engagement sessions all across Seattle and the Pacific Northwest—from coastal beaches to mountain views. If you have a specific location in mind, let’s make it happen.
Why should we do an engagement session?
It’s more than just photos.
It’s a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day, spend intentional time together, and create something that feels like you—without the pressure of a timeline.
And honestly? Most couples tell me this ends up being their favorite part of the whole experience.
Do you offer longer or more adventurous sessions?
I do—and these are some of my favorites.
If you’re dreaming of something more immersive (like hiking to a viewpoint, exploring multiple locations, or chasing sunset somewhere incredible), we can absolutely plan a longer, more intentional session.
These sessions allow for a deeper storytelling approach and tend to feel even more like an experience than a photoshoot.
Every year I do have a few location I'm already traveling to for elopement, ask me about those dates for a waived travel fee.
